MagicInfo Pro Cannot connect to my screen

If a client's Schedule Server and Connection Name settings are not the same as those of its server computer, you cannot connect the server to its clients. Check the client’s Schedule Server and Connection Name fields.

  1. At the client, on the system tray, select the MagicInfo Pro icon and right-click it to display a menu window.
  2. Select Setup in the menu.
  3. In the Setup dialog box, click Connection and check the Schedule Server field.
    • If the server and a client are on the same subnet, select Automatic Connection using server name.
    • If not, select Direct connection using IP address and type the server IP address into the box.
  4. Check the Name field in the Set up dialog. If the Schedule Server has been set to Automatic Connection using server name, type the same names as those the server has in its Server and Client boxes.

MagicInfo Pro also requires the standard (Windows) File and Print Sharing ports to be open, Ensure you have allowed these services through your firewall/switch.
