You cannot apply changes to your client system

Check if the EWF state is Enable. If so, you can apply settings you make to the system only by entering the Commit command.

1st solution:

  1. At the client, click the MagicInfo Pro icon on the system tray and right-click it to display a menu.
  2. Select EWF in the menu.
  3. In the EWF dialog, go to EWF State and check the Current State field.
  4. Change the setting, and go to EWF command and select Commit, and then click OK.

2nd solution:

  1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
  2. Type ewfmgr –all, and verify that the C drive has been set to Protected Volume.
  3. Type ewfmgr c: -commit, and save the change.
